All the Magic in the World...

Happy Halloween, everyone! Welcome to the Darkspell Launch Spookfesta!

Today my friend Elizabeth Mueller is celebrating the release of her YA paranormal romance Darkspell! I'm so, so happy for her. To celebrate, Elizabeth is hosting the Spookfesta blogfest. I get to post a picture of what I would do if I had all the magic in the world.

Wow. What a thought. All the magic in the world? Would I end hunger? Bring world peace? Tempting possibilities. However, even if I had all the magic in the world, I still wouldn't have the wisdom to know how to bring changes like that. (I think it's up to us to do those things without magic. Just sayin'.)

So, if I had all the magic in the world to do something a little selfish, I'd conjure up one of these for my very own. And give myself the ability to fly it!

So what about you? What would you do with all the magic in the world? You can join the Spookfesta here. And be sure to check out Elizabeth's new book:

Winter Sky believes she is everything ordinary . . .until she is kissed by Alex Stormhold.
As seer of Stormhold Coven, Alex is sworn to be Winter’s protector against the darkness that hunts her. Violently thrust into a magical realm she always thought impossible, she stumbles upon a disturbing secret of her own.
Will love prove thicker than magic?

Happy Book Birthday, Elizabeth! Visit her blog and website or order the book here!

Angie, thank you! Whoa, I love your magical wish. I'm chicken, I love my feet planted firmly in the ground--unless I was a pegasus or a fairy or a vampire. ;)

So excited for Elizabeth! Her book is really nicely done with the presentation. :) As far as magic goes, hmmm, I think I'd spirit away selfish desires from everyone so that we can all get along better and work toward a common good instead of personal gain and profit at the expense of others. That's what bothers me most about the world lately.

LOL! Angie the Blue Angel! Fantastic. Man... this is tough. I was thinkin I'd do something along the lines of Katie... make my coffee w/my mind before I get up in the a.m. Have an unlimited supply of sushi delivered to my door... meh. Then I'd probably get sick of that.

Stop worrying so much? Have a great holiday and best to Elizabeth~ :o) <3

Hey there, visiting you from Elizabeth's site. If you can conjure one of those blue angels up with your magic, I want a Stealth Bomber. Happy Halloween! :)

All the magic in the world and I can use it for selfish things? I'd conjure up a way to transport people quickly and easily all over the globe, specifically me to visit my parents and siblings, or for them to visit me here in Europe. Like Apparition, but not so jerky. More like a BeamMeUpScottius Spell.

And I'd zap myself so that I could become a great writer. This would probably have to include pouring wisdom and a much better understanding of human behaviour into my psyche, so that I could create realistic characters that act and react in realistic ways. It's a good thing that I'd have all the magic in the world to do this with, as I'm sure the combination of a task like that and a subject like me would need lots and lots of power!

Melanie, I'd love a transporter too! And I don't think it would take all that much to make you a terrific writer. You're already there!

Awww, thanks, Angie, that's exactly what I needed to hear after three rounds of negative feedback recently. :-)

Glad I could help, Melanie. =) I just call it like it is.

The day is finally here. Congrats to Elizabeth! :)

My wish would be for one of those invisibility cloaks. For sure.

Ooh flying! I'd love to be able to fly all sorts of ways— biplane, hot air balloon, skydiving, wings, magic! Hey, you're right—flying would be awesome!

And I'm so excited about your book coming out! Wahoo for Angie!!!

P.S. You have an awesome name for a Sci-Fi author - it goes great with your books!
